Impact Threads builds wearable experiences designed specifically for Greek life. Every piece comes embedded with our patent-pending Tap To Impact™ patch that connects the apparel your chapter already wears to exclusive local deals and real dollars for your chapter's own philanthropy. From rush week to philanthropy fundraisers to formals, we design around your exact event. We are creating a new standard for what Greek life merch can be.
The problem
Event merchandise loses its purpose after the event ends. Members still wear the shirt, but the connection fades. Traditional merch becomes another shirt in the closet, missing the chance to create lasting impact.
The beginning
It started with two high school students brainstorming ways to make nonprofit apparel more interactive. They experimented with QR codes and quickly discovered the limitations: codes fade, get damaged, require perfect camera angles, and look clunky. There had to be a better way to bridge the physical and digital worlds.

Our patent-pending Tap To Impact™ patch turns ordinary apparel into an interactive experience. Members simply hold their phone to the patch to unlock exclusive local deals near campus, and every verified redemption raises money for their chapter's own philanthropy. No app required. Today, Tap To Impact™ is at the center of everything we do. We work directly alongside Greek organizations to design apparel that represents your chapter and keeps giving back long after the event ends.
Through these partnerships, we have had the opportunity to collaborate with chapters across the country and see firsthand how a shared piece of apparel can turn a single event into lasting impact. We are grateful for every organization that has trusted us, every member who has worn a piece of Impact Threads apparel, and every moment of community that has shaped what we are building.
At the end of the day, Impact Threads exists because of the people and chapters behind it, and we are excited to keep growing, learning, and creating alongside the Greek community.

Daniel Kauffman
Co-Founder · Southern Methodist University
Hi, I'm Daniel. I'm from Atlanta, Georgia, and I currently attend Southern Methodist University, where I study finance. My involvement in community service began in sixth grade, when I had the opportunity to visit a homeless shelter. That experience left a lasting impression on me and was the first moment I realized I wanted to be part of something that helped people and created real impact.
Working with the organizations and causes we have partnered with through Impact Threads has been nothing short of a blessing. I love connecting with charities in person and seeing the work they are doing within their communities, because it is those opportunities where I truly understand why what we are doing is so important.

Hi, I'm William. I'm from Atlanta, Georgia, and I currently attend Southern Methodist University, where I study Public Policy. My passion for service began at a young age through volunteering with my family at organizations across Atlanta. Those experiences helped shape the way I think about purpose and reinforced my belief that meaningful impact comes from sustained action.
Through Impact Threads, I have been incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work directly with charities and see that same kind of long-term impact firsthand. Being able to connect with organizations, hear their stories, and help amplify their missions through what we build has been deeply motivating. Working directly with these amazing people behind their causes and seeing the difference they make reminds me why this work is so important.
