Dallas Animal Services is the City of Dallas' open-intake shelter, one of the largest in the nation, caring for more than 30,000 dogs and cats every year. As the city's only shelter that accepts every pet in need regardless of health, temperament, or capacity, DAS depends on the community to keep animals moving into homes.
With more than 50 dogs arriving every single day, adoptions, fosters, and community support matter more than ever. The Charity of the Month is our own giving initiative: Impact Threads supports the featured cause directly, separate from chapter fundraising.
